Brushing and Flossing

The best way to prevent cavities is by brushing your teeth for two minutes two times a day and flossing once daily.

When brushing it is important to use the right amount of toothpaste. Children ages 0-3 should use a grain of rice-sized amount of toothpaste, while children 3 years and above should use a pea-sized amount of toothpaste. In addition to brushing and flossing, dental checkups and cleanings are an important part of maintaining your oral and overall health.

Remember the 2x2x2 rule! Brush two times a day for two minutes and visit the dentist two times a year!
