The Medical and Health Operational Area Coordinator program is part of the State of California Disaster Medical Response Plan. The plan is designed to facilitate communication, situational awareness and assistance across operational areas within Region 4 of the California Medical/Health Mutual Aid System.
The Sacramento County Emergency Medical and Health Operational Area Coordinator (MHOAC) is committed to protecting and safeguarding the residents of Sacramento County. Communication and early notification are key components to successfully manage any large scale emergency. The system is intended to aid hospitals, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) providers, skilled nursing facilities, laboratories, physician offices, veterinary facilities and others.
If you represent an organization that is in need of assistance due to an emergency or disaster, the information below will assist you in contacting the MHOAC for guidance and assistance.

Emergency PPE now available to California dentists through The Dentists Supply Company

Each kit contains:
- 150 - Surgical Masks
- 4 - 3M KN95 Respirator Masks 9542V

- Face Shields (quantities may vary)
- You must attempt to purchase supplies through a vendor prior to submitting a resource request.

requests for PPE. The warehouse is open Wednesday through Friday for pickup
ONLY. You will be called when your order is ready. Do not go to the warehouse
unless called. Due to the current volume of requests it is taking longer to
fill orders. Due to current volume please refrain from calling to check on the
status of your order. Any questions or concerns must go to MHOAC@saccounty.net. Do NOT call
warehouse personnel to check on the status of your order.
The PPE distribution center will be closed on Friday, July 3rd in observance of the holiday.

Once you have submitted the resource request, you will receive a phone call or email when your request is fulfilled and ready for pick-up. The request may take up to 5 days to fill.
